Bowlers raise $20k for Prevail
The community gathered to raise funds for Prevail, Inc, a not-for-profit victim’s awareness and support program based in Hamilton County, at the 13th Annual Bowl-A-Thon Challenge. The city employees once again won bragging rights over the county employees as they knocked down 22,828 pins versus the county’s 20,823.
For 13 years our community has rallied together and helped make this event our second largest fundraiser. This event is by fair one of the most spirited I have ever been involved in, everyone has so much fun!
The event raised more than $20,000 thanks to the efforts of the 160 bowlers that participated.
Charlie Jones led the event by bringing in more than $2,600 in sponsorships and Michelle Sloderbeck came in second with more than $1,600. In third place, Ralph Watson was able to raise $1,100. Meijer in Noblesville donated $1,000 toward prizes for the top individual fundraisers, and Subway on 10th Street in Noblesville donated food for all of the participants.
