Here is Mallory’s winning essay:

Teacher of the Month nomination

My teacher Mrs. Dubovich really serves the “teacher of the month” because she tries to make you like school and yet I love school now. She taught me multiplication and division in just a couple days. I knew my basic facts in a flash. My teacher also is making me and my classmates better because she pushes us to get better. Mrs. Dubovich also made reading fun. I used to hate reading, now I love it because she showed my class so many awesome books. Now, I LOVE school and am inspired by Mrs. Dubovich!

Students in grades K-12 are invited to enter Current’s April Teacher of the Month contest. Participants should send a 100-word essay explaining why their teacher should be named Teacher of the Month.
